The recent pandemic has caused much uncertainty for Seka. Due to health and safety concerns, we made the difficult decision to temporarily close our sewing shop. This meant that our artisans' income shifted from sewing production to donations. We greatly thank all who have donated thus far; your financial gifts have provided basic necessities for Rwandan mothers and children in the absence of work.
More recently, our artisans were able to return to a modified work schedule that incorporates increased safety regulations. Everyone is excited to return to some version of normal! However, difficulties still abound. Our top priority is that families are able to oversee their families when needed. Additionally, transporting products has proved difficult. At this time, donations remain the primary source of our women's income. For this reason, we graciously ask for the continued financial assistance of our donors. Donations can be made via the store section of our page or by following the link below. We thank you for your commitment and generosity.
Although we have a very talented team, Seka Handbags is continuously looking for new skills to incorporate into the nonprofit. If you believe you can offer business assistance remotely, please fill out the attached google form and we will be in contact. Thank you!
